Landells Signs and the Longines 2018 Commonwealth Games Countdown Clock

Successfully completed by Landells Signs, Longines unveiled its 2018 Commonwealth Games countdown clock pylon sign at Brisbane Airport. Athletes Matt Shervington, Cam McEvoy and Amy Pejkovic joined Commonwealth Games Chairman and former Qld Premier, Peter Beattie as well as the Minister for the Commonwealth Games, Kate Jones and Longines General Manager (Australia), Amelia Michael, for the unveiling ceremony.

Children from St Pius’ Primary School watched as a Longines navy silk was removed from the countdown clock which will count down the days, hours and minutes until the start of the 2018 Commonwealth Games.

This 5.2 metre, 1.75 tonne clock required the technical expertise
of the Landells Signs Design, Production and Installation departments to ensure that the pylon was delivered according to Longines’ expectations and requirements of its prestigious brand.
